The Apple Diet Detox

If you've been researching through the Internet, or books, about clearing acne, natural acne treatments, or any other natural health treatments for acne free skin, you've probably come across the famous and popular Apple Diet Detox.

The regime goes along the lines of eating apples and drinking only organic apple juice for several days, along with taking a series of epsom salts mixed in with water (the laxative) on the final night, and then taking the final dose of epsom salt mixture with olive oil.  Expect your tummy to churn heavily as you release stool (and stones) regularly throughout the next morning and into the afternoon.

It's pretty intense, especially if you're slightly underweight, and definitely uncomfortable to say the least.

If you want a slightly lighter natural detox, which also helps as a natural acne treatment, then try the following:

1. Eat apples (your prefered choice) throughout the day... breakfast, lunch and snack time.
2. Drink organic apple juice and as much mineral water as you can (preferably every 2 hours).
3. For dinner, eat mostly vegetables.  You can add wholegrains and very small portions of meat to your meal, such as fish.

This will help improve your digestive system, relieve constipation and of course, it's a small step to getting clear skin.

You can follow these simple steps for as long as you can handle the Apple Diet Detox (even a week if you can manage), and watch that acne slowly disappear off the surface of your skin.  The fruit and mostly green diet will provide the "mild laxative", so you can avoid the pain and inconvenience of the heavy detox flushes.

Do this as often as you can - at least once a week if you have to, or try doing it at least once every month.

And as always, Good Luck, and I'd love to hear on your progress.
