Acne Free In 3 days - Personal Review

Chris Gibson's book, Acne Free In 3 Days, is an extensive, well-planned guide to treating acne, with well documented research and scientific backup.

Of course, he also goes into details about his personal experiences with acne, the various acne remedies - tried, tested and unsuccessful, so you don't have to.

What's on the Inside?

Without giving too much away, it's a step-by-step guide to detoxify your system and cure acne in 3 days - and believe it or not, he's not too far off.  It's a natural process, using no harmful chemicals or medications.  You get a food guide too, so you'll have a better understanding of what you should be putting into your stomach.  After all, diet is an important step in maintaining the health of your skin.

The other thing I liked about Chris Gibson is that he openly admits that there is only a 98% chance for complete acne removal, and it won't work for 100% of everybody, 100% of the time.

And that's true, although my skin hadn't cleared up in 3 days, I still managed to notice a difference in a relatively short period.  Clearer skin appeared after slightly over a week, with only occassional breakouts, which I think were due more to hormonal imbalance, instead of diet.

Is it Worth It?

Considering the amount of money you're likely to spend at the dermatologist, the drugstore and on cosmetics to "hide" it all away (who are we kidding?), then YES - it's worth it.

Having said that, I also believe that this program is better suited to adults over the age of 18 because it involves a heavy detoxifier, so be prepared to lose a little weight - but if that's on your agenda, what a bonus.

And you might want to stay away from apples, apples, apples, if you do decide to take the Acne Free In 3 Days route.  Just a thought.

Acne No More - Personal Review

Acne No More is an extensive 220 page acne treatment guide written by a Mike Walden - medical researcher, nutritionist and health consultant.  His claim is that the means to cure acne is by regulating hormone production.  He goes into further details about this and what exactly causes these blocks and irregularities and really gives you better insight into what's going on in thereThe program uses holistic acne methods and the results of an acne free face will reveal itself after about a 2 month period.

What's on the Inside?

Well, it consists of doing a body cleanse and juice fasting, a more refined "acne free" diet and practical ways to kill off acne causing bacteria (part of Walden's 5 pillar formula).  What I like about it is that he also offers meditation exercises, which are designed to help you through the rather tough program.  Mike Walden also acknowledges the little "habits" that we might have that would need to stop in order to prevent acne.

The other thing I liked about it is that you have the option of free private counseling, although I didn't take that route so I can't really comment there.  Lastly, the con about this book is that it's very, very long... and the results take even longer.

Is it Worth It?

At the end of the day, I believe, to really cure acne you'll need to make a bit of an effort and you'd definitely need to cure acne from the inside out - or else they'll keep popping back out every time you "forget" to do something.  So YES, this is great value for money - plus the free private counselling I might add.

But I have to mention Acne No More requires discipline and hard work, so be prepared for weeks of consistency and a new lifestyle before you get to witness the results.

Stick with it, and you'll be fine.

Acne Cured - Personal Review

I suggest you watch the author's video first at the Acne Cured official site and see for yourself how genuine this guy is.  I think he's really passionate about what he's selling, which is an au naturale acne remedy.

As with any truly natural methods of dealing with this problem, this is not another "quick fix" miracle worker.

What's on the Inside?

Compared to other acne treatment books out there, Acne Cured is the most straightforward and uncomplicated.  Expect to buy natural food supplements, which are easily found at any health food store, to aid in this natural process and balance your hormone production.  It comes with a great food guide too, similar to other acne treatment guides, so you can avoid one of the causes of the symptom in the first place.

Is it Worth It?

YES, if you're into fuss free, straight to the point editing.  It doesn't ramble on about unnecessary details and you'll dive into the program right away.  There are better options if you need extensive medical research to convince you.

Does it work?  Yes.

Your road to acne free skin will come along nicely after a few weeks with Acne Cured (obviously varying slightly from person to person).

Mr X Acne Says - Personal Review

This is a straight to the point, easy to follow book about treating acne.  It's very easy to get through and understand, and it tackles the problem using diet and methods for controlling inflammation.  Mr X Acne promises quick reduction of acne and a list of rookie mistakes you'll need to avoid.

What's on the Inside?

Well the step by step guide gets you the results - and fast.  You'll need to be making subtle diet changes, which is expected, but thankfully no rigorous fasting or dieting for that matter.  I really like his "50 different keys to clear skin", which is very helpful.  He also writes about the 3 absolute no-no foods, which when I cut just 1 of them out of my diet, my breakouts shifted to 2nd gear almost overnight.

I am impressed that this book helps you cure acne fairly quickly, and it doesn't require too much patience.  However, you will be needing several supplements for hormonal balance, so you'll be spending (not overspending) on a monthly basis.

Is it Worth It?

I think YES, if you need a quick fix.  I see it as a good warm-up to the more extensive books, which I still believe you should introduce into your lifestyle sooner than later.

Mr X Acne helps you to get your self-confidence (and other issues you've developed due to those monsters inhabiting your face for so long) back on track before you throw yourself into the deeper and more difficult programs.  It's also great to consider if you're likely to get discouraged with only 1 foot through the door.
